Whether you are interested in selling your piano, getting an estimate of the value of a piano, or just want to learn more about your piano, we need as much information as possible about it, and definitely need pictures to determine that value. Pianos vary in price greatly both by what they are, by their condition, and there is a large variance from wholesale to retail. An example of this might be that wholesale value on a small console piano might be $100-$300.00 to a dealer who will pick it up in a hurry, and remove it from you. Had you listed it in the paper, you might have gotten $500 or $700.00, but might wait three or four months for it to sell, spend $100-$200.00 on advertising, and might have to help move it, or help split the bill on moving to get someone to take it. A local move can run from $200-$450, and a national move can run $1800.00, so that is a big factor in a sale. The same piano might retail for $1800.00, where the dealer is absorbing the cost of delivery, will clean it out and fix minute problems, might include a $125.00 tuning, and might have to warranty the piano in some way to satisfy a customer. When buying from a private party, you are stuck with what you buy. From a dealer, they fix things a consumer doesn't think to before they sell them.

To begin the process, please fill out the following form and upload pictures of various angles of your piano. Please fill out all of the text fields. Under comments, please let us know last approximate tune, and any information you may know or have heard from a technician about your piano. If the sound board is cracked, or pin block or bridge is cracked, or the piano doesn't hold a tune well at A440, it's possible that repairs will be more than the value of your piano. Older upright pianos often fall into this category where repairs or moving is often more than the value of the piano, and they are what we call "haul-offs." That means it will cost you something to have them removed. Once we have all of your information about the piano and your contact information, we will call shortly to discuss your piano. We purchase pianos, as well as offer to consign some, and often have customers who we are "shopping" for a specific piano for. Having yours in our system makes it easy to match up these buyers with pianos.

We look forward to serving the musical needs of America!
